Rev. Dr. Jonathan Jamel H. McReynolds

The Rev. Dr. Jonathan Jamel H. McReynolds is honored to serve as the Senior Pastor of the Fullview Missionary Baptist Church of Bartlett, Tennessee. This is a multi-generational and diverse congregation, which serves Bartlett and the Metropolitan Memphis, Tennessee area. The Fullview Missionary Baptist Church has dozens of ministries to meet the needs of humanity and strives to take the city for Christ. The origins of the Fullview Missionary Baptist Church date back to 1876 establishing it as one of the historic congregations of Shelby County, Tennessee.

The Rev. Dr. Jonathan Jamel H. McReynolds is a fourth-generation clergy who hails from Paducah, Kentucky. He is married to Princess McReynolds and is the father of four. He is a graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School, Wilberforce University with a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Management, United Theological Seminary with a Master of Arts degree in Christia

n Ministry and a Doctor of Ministry degree in Pastoral Care and Counseling. His doctoral project is entitled “The Jeremiah Model for Pastoral Care and Prophetic Leadership. He also completed an Executive Studies Program at Harvard Divinity School in Church-Based Economic and Community Development.

The Rev. Dr. Jonathan Jamel H. McReynolds has served in pastoral positions in Kentucky, Ohio and New York prior to serving the Fullview Missionary Baptist Church. He has served as a Vice-Moderator in Ohio and New York and as a Vice-President of the Empire Baptist Convention of New York. He was licensed and ordained as a minister over 30 years ago by his late grandfather the Rev. Dr. W.G. Harvey Sr. and was consecrated as a Bishop in the Lord’s Church in 2018 by the Kingdom Dominion Covenant Ministries Fellowship, where he currently serves as the First Assistant Presiding Bishop. He is also affiliated with the National Baptist Convention USA Inc., where he has taught in the Congress of Christian Education in the Missions Department for over a decade. He is affiliated with the Lott Carey Foreign Mission Convention, the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship, The Joint College of Bishops and the Global United Fellowship. He is a proud member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Incorporated.

The Rev. Dr. Jonathan Jamel H. McReynolds is a Faculty Mentor at the United Theological Seminary teaching, Pastoral Care and Counseling in the doctoral program. United is the third largest United Methodist Seminary in the country. He has a dynamic record of ministry and service to the Lord’s Church and the public square in matters of social justice, political activism and humanitarian service. He has been a guest preacher and missionary in several cities in South Africa. He was recognized two years in a row as one of the Power 100 leaders of Rochester, New York. He is the recipient of many public awards and recognitions. He has lectured nationally for many events about social justice, political affairs and religious training. His favorite scripture is Job 36:11. “If they obey and serve Him, they shall spend their days in prosperity and their years in pleasures.”
