Fullview Missionary Baptist Church requests your input into the selection of our next pastor. Your feedback will also assist us with developing a church profile that reflects our membership. We thank you in advance as we are all called to be unified in the body of Christ. Ephesians 4: 4-6 “There is one body and one spirit”.
The Men’s Ministry is focused on advancing the Fullview Discipleship objective by bringing men of all ages together for fellowship, mentorship and spiritual growth.
As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend. Proverbs 27:17 This is our foundational scripture.
The VISION of the Men’s Ministry is an inclusive, unified, and growing body of men exercising their God given gifts and talents as servant leaders to their families, churches, and communities. In realizing that vision, we have as our MISSION: To facilitate and (make easier) the inclusion, unification, and equipping of men for spiritual and personal growth so their families, churches, and communities are blessed by their servant-leadership.
To accomplish this mission our KEY OBJECTIVE is to increase the inclusion and interaction of Fullview’s men and boys through the following STRATEGIES:
- Ministry of fellowship in prayer, bible study, Christian training, mentoring, and relationship-building events/activities.
- Ministry of family by working to establish, build, maintain, and repair loving relationships.
- Ministry of service by supporting other ministries of the church with our presence and assistance.
- Ministry of outreach by maintaining our relationship with Calvary Mission and building relationships with Men’s Ministries in other local churches.
The third Saturday of each month from 8:30 AM – 10:00 AM
Hello Fullview Family & Friends.
God is always here and has always been here. For more than 145 years, our history has been one of birth & death, growth & wealth, and vision and mission. For we have always focused on learning, and the teachings and many lessons learned from God’s word.
As we approach this Homecoming/Family & Friends Day, it is also our Anniversary celebration to commemorate that we have come along way. That is from 1876 until now – can you imagine what our founders would say today, if they were here?
In the years of our Lord 2019 and 2020, we had bitter sweet accomplishments, rough and sad times, and times that many of us felt we would not be able to endure. But God has kept us through it all, through COVID-19, and the Home-going of our Beloved Pastor Rev. Walter L. Peggs, Sr., and many other family members who God called home these past few years.
This is why we are approaching our 145th Anniversary with a celebratory Family, Friends and Fun Day, Saturday, July 3, 2021 from 11AM until 3PM, and then on Sunday, July 4th, 2021 at 9:00 AM we will enter our sanctuary with Thanksgiving and Praise.
This letter is to invite you to come home. Come home to worship. Our doors are open, we are praising God and giving thanks for the many many things that God has done for all of us.
Yes it’s a little different, but I’m sure you will have comfort in the small group fellowships, and the word and praise singing that is done. We are still streaming for many of our brothers and sisters who are not able to return and will continue to provide our virtual platforms indefinitely.
May God continue to bless you and keep you is our prayer.
Interim Pastor Reverend Warrie Williams
If you Google the word grief, the definition is very clear. Grief is a natural response to death or loss. The grieving process is an opportunity to appropriately mourn a loss and then heal.
As we reflect on 2020 and 2021 thus far, Fullview has been through a tough time. But, in reflection, in the 145 years we’ve been in service, I’m sure we’ve had tougher times.
With this year and the last year with this pandemic, and the great home going of our God-sent leader and pastor Walter L. Peggs, Sr., we have been given another perspective for our future. Now, we must grieve and heal in order to move forward.
With that in mind we, The Fullview Grief Ministry, has partnered with Bishop William and Pastor Dianne Young of The Healing Center to facilitate several sessions of congregational grief management sessions.
Our first session is via zoom on Thursday, June 24, 2021 @7PM CDT.
